In this charming 1920’s home, nestled in a picturesque Suffolk village, our Head of Design Louise Ashdown, was tasked with designing five distinct functional bathrooms that are full of character. It was a fine balance of combining colourful elements with timeless pieces to create spaces that are as unique as they are luxurious. With having a loose brief and a client who was open to new ideas, our designer had the privilege of working with creativity and exploration which made it a fun process. A variety of textures and natural materials were used, along with waterproof wallpaper, coloured sanitaryware and secret doors.
This project was initiated by a returning client who had previously collaborated with Louise during lockdown on an award-winning renovation of her Victorian villa in Kent. Throughout the project, we maintained seamless communication with the builders despite the property’s distance, ensuring a smooth workflow. Conveniently located near our showroom, the client effortlessly visited to view samples and make decisions, with a keen eye for design she was a delight to work with.
