In the 2024 February issue of KBB our Head of design Louise Ashdown was asked about her ways in which she designs a statement whimsical shower.

The timeless chequerboard pattern is on the rise. Welcome it into your shower ares with intricate geometric shapes and playful gingham motifs in complementing shades to achieve a truly unique look. “The designers embraced a variety of patterns while adhering to an earthy colour palette, which achieves a harmonious look for this colourful enclosure,” explains Louise Ashdown, head of design at West One Bathrooms. “The juxtaposition of the chequerboard and tear-drop tiles enhances the overall aesthetic and complements the gingham waterproof wallpaper. The steel-framed shower panel adds an industrial touch that seamlessly
combines with a sense of comfort.”, she adds.
