As part of a restoration project to a six-bedroom Georgian Farmhouse, the brief for the master ensuite was to create a space that was relaxed yet luxurious. We opted for a subtle palette of brushed brass fittings and soft muted colours. The bathroom needed to include a separate bath and shower to suit their bathing preferences. Made of chalky white Cristalplant, the freestanding bath was the focal point for the room, which is balanced with a large bespoke shower enclosure.
Georgian Farmhouse, Master Suite
The freestanding bath is made of Cristalplant, a bio-based solid surface that is warm and smooth to touch, making a striking focal point in the centre of the room.
The porcelain floor and wall tiles are designed to replicate vein-cut marble, but are easier to maintain and more durable. We used very large-format slabs in the shower to avoid unattractive joins.
